Though the current house will no longer be in use, the show will continue in a new location, carrying forward its enduring legacy while providing fresh opportunities, memorable experiences, and exciting new stories for upcoming generations of housemates, ensuring that the spirit and impact of Pinoy Big Brother live on.
Pinoy Big Brother is a reality show where the contestants are required to stay in a house known as “Bahay ni Kuya.” The big winner will be determined by overcoming the challenges that must be faced inside the house, and also with the help of votes from the audience. The Philippine adaptation of the popular American TV reality series has produced big stars like Kim Chiu, Gerald Anderson, Sam Milby, and many more.
In a previous report, Lauren Dyogi confirmed that it was the appropriate time to officially say goodbye to the iconic PBB house, which has been part of two decades of reality television history. Although the property has been sold, ABS-CBN arranged a lease extension to complete two editions of PBB Celebrity Collab in collaboration with GMA. While the house will no longer be used, the show will continue in a new location, carrying on its long-standing legacy.
Earlier, PBB Business Unit Head Marcus Vinuya revealed that the production team is considering relocating the iconic Pinoy Big Brother house. He hinted the move could occur “sooner than people think,” marking the end of a 21-year era. A new edition featuring regular contestants is already in the works, following the success of recent celebrity collaborations. While the change may evoke nostalgia, leadership believes a fresh location will bring “new energy” and more unpredictable content for viewers.
