In a candid social media video, the performer revealed that doctors had to remove one of his testicles to prevent the cancer from worsening.
“Sad to say, yes po, meron po akong isa na lang na testicle po na nandito po.
At hindi ko po ikakahiya iyon. Kasi kung hindi ko po tinanggal yon, baka nasa six feet under the ground na po ako at parang nilalamayan niyo na po ako kung hindi ko po tinanggal yon,” Kenneth said.

He explained that the tumor developed in his right testicle, which made it necessary for doctors to remove it during surgery.
“Yes po, tinanggal po yung right testicle ko, kasi doon po talaga tumubo yung cancer or yung mass or yung tumor doon po sa right testicle ko,” he added.
Despite the successful operation, Kenneth clarified that his treatment journey is not yet over. He said doctors are still closely monitoring his condition to determine whether the cancer has spread.
“Hindi pa naman po ako cancer-free now kasi monitoring pa po yung status ko. Baka daw po kasi nag-spread po yung cancer cell sa abdominal ko or sa abdomen ko kaya I need to undergo CT scan na naman po this month.”
Weeks earlier, Kenneth had publicly shared details about his diagnosis and appealed for help with his medical expenses. The dancer and performer revealed that he needed urgent surgery and that his hospital bill had reached around ₱250,000.
He also admitted that while many of his social media posts appear cheerful, he has been going through a heavy emotional period while facing the illness. Kenneth asked supporters who could not donate financially to at least include him in their prayers.
Kenneth Medrano first gained nationwide attention after winning the That’s My Bae segment of Eat Bulaga in 2015. His impressive dance skills, charisma, and strong stage presence helped him build a loyal fan base and establish himself as a performer in the entertainment industry. Like Kenneth, several public figures have recently drawn attention due to their own battles with cancer.
Earlier, Brad Arnold, the lead singer of the band behind the hit song Here Without You, died at the age of 47 after battling cancer. His band announced that he passed away peacefully on February 7 surrounded by his wife Jennifer and other family members. Arnold was one of the founding members and the original drummer of 3 Doors Down, helping shape the group’s signature sound during the early 2000s. The band also expressed gratitude for the global support shown by fans following his passing.
In another development, comedian Ate Gay has begun immunotherapy sessions at the Asian Hospital and Medical Center as part of treatment for Stage 4 cancer. The entertainer shared that he needs a total of twelve sessions scheduled every twenty-one days, noting that the procedure is extremely expensive. Ate Gay expressed heartfelt gratitude to a mysterious “angel” who has been helping shoulder the cost of the treatments designed to boost the immune system in fighting cancer cells.
