Vice Ganda recently expressed frustration over the behavior of certain “toxic” supporters following the guest appearance of Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0 big winners Caprice Cayetano and Lella Ford on It’s Showtime.

The comedian took to X, formerly Twitter, on Friday, March 6, to address recurring issues production teams face when dealing with aggressive fanbases. Vice noted that while guest appearances should be celebratory, the negative energy from some followers often dampens the mood for those working behind the scenes.

“Madami nga talagang toxic na fans ang mga PBB housemates. Mabababa ang functional literacy. Kaya napapabuntong hininga na lang ang mga staff ng show pag guest yang housemates e kasi for sure may mga fantards na konting utot magmamaoy. Imbis na maexcite ang staff, nasstress,” the host wrote.

The tension escalated when an alleged fan posted a baseless claim suggesting that Vice’s treatment of the housemates was influenced by personal relationships. The now-deleted post alleged that Vice was seeking “revenge” because of a supposed connection to Lella and a friendship with Karla Estrada.

“Ninang ni lella si Vice Ganda plus bff niya si Karla kaya gumaganti lang yan,” the fan claimed.

Vice quickly debunked the claim, questioning where the user got the information. He first clarified the lack of any religious or personal ties by stating:

“Tulad nito! Kelan ako naging ninang ni Lella??? Di ko nga alam kung nabinyagan na yan e!”

He then called out the user for fabricating stories and advised them to focus on self-improvement and education rather than spreading misinformation online. Vice concluded by saying:

“To naman makagawa lang ng chika. Magbasa-basa ka na nga lang ng libro na bata ka para kahit papano maging smart ka. Go start na sa page 1!”
