In an official statement, her camp said it had become aware of posts from a Facebook page that allegedly linked Miss Glenda to the suspect and even labeled her as a supposed “money launderer” or “taga-laba.” The camp categorically denied the accusations, stressing that she has “absolutely no connection whatsoever” to Zaldy Co, to any flood control controversy, or to any form of illegal financial activity.

The statement further explained that publicly available information — including her Europe trip, her declaration of billionaire status, and her payment of taxes — had been “weaponized” to create what it described as a fabricated and irresponsible narrative.

“We categorically, completely, and vehemently deny these allegations and speculations.

Miss Glenda has absolutely no connection whatsoever to Zaldy Co, to any flood control scandal, or to any illegal financial activity of any kind...
