Actor Paul Salas spoke candidly about his former relationship with Mikee Quintos during his guest appearance on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on GMA, where he clarified that their breakup was not caused by a major conflict but by differences in their direction in life.

Paul emphasized that their separation was about personal growth and purpose, saying, “But gusto ko lang po i-clear na it’s about our goals and purpose siguro,” as he explained that they reached a point where they needed to focus on their individual journeys.

Despite their split, the actor shared that they remain on good terms and still greet each other warmly whenever they meet, adding that their interactions have become part of their healing process. He revealed that each encounter gives them a chance to check on each other and talk about how they are doing.

“’Pag nagkikita naman kami, andun pa rin ’yung lalapitan ko siya, kukumustahin ko siya. Kukulitin ko pa nga. But I think sa mga bawat kita namin Tito Boy, nandun kami nag-hi-heal, kasi mas napapag-usapan namin kung kumusta na,” he said.

Paul also had a heartfelt message for Mikee, expressing gratitude for what he learned from their relationship and acknowledging his own personal growth.

Mikee Quintos is a Filipina actress and singer who rose to fame after playing the role of Lira in the hit fantasy series Encantadia. Aside from acting, she is also a skilled vocalist and began performing in public at a young age during her parents’ political campaigns. She and Paul Salas confirmed in 2022 that they were dating. After years of being together as a couple, Mikee announced her breakup with Paul in April 2025, shocking their fans and supporters. Mikee and Paul were a romantic couple for four years.
