During her guest appearance on Ang Walang Kwentang Channel, hosted by filmmakers Antoinette Jadaone and JP Habac, Anne clarified that she does not recall saying the now-viral line, “I can buy you, your friends and this club,” which has followed her for years. She explained that based on what her friends told her, the exact phrase may not have been said, even if a heated confrontation did happen.

“Hiiii, not completely… Some of what he said was true and years ago, I owned up to it, apologized to those involved (and also received an apology back) but most importanly, I learned my lesson from it .. I’m just talking about the famous line and what my friends told me. But you know what? It all happened ages ago and all those involved are in good terms so it doesn’t matter anyway.. But anyway, line is so iconic so I’ll just own it. Kaya ok lang sabihin nyo ng paulit paulit na sinabi ko. Ok na,” she wrote.

The actress emphasized that she has long taken responsibility for her actions, saying apologies were made on both sides and that everyone involved has already reconciled. For Anne, the issue belongs in the past, and she now chooses to laugh it off and move forward.
