Kasi grabe ‘yung pagod na inabot ko,” he said.

The actor also spoke honestly about the long period he spent away from showbiz, saying it affected both his finances and professional network. He revealed that he lost income, business opportunities, and industry contacts, making his comeback even harder.

For the trophy he brought to the shop, which is his first acting trophy, Boss Toyo agreed to buy it for P75,000, the same price he previously paid for Jiro’s Gawad Urian award. The emotional exchange highlighted both the sentimental value of the item and Jiro’s ongoing efforts to rebuild his life step by step.

Jiro Manio was a highly regarded child star who appeared in several memorable films, including Magnifico and Anak. At a young age, he earned critical acclaim and even won a Gawad Urian Best Actor award. He began his acting career at just seven years old, debuting in the film Pamana in 1999.
