According to Andres, their connection goes beyond ordinary sibling closeness, saying they often understand each other without having to speak.
“Ako feeling ko, may twin telepathy kami talaga. Feeling ko it’s a real thing, especially kami ni Atasha since we’re so close.
“I don’t know how to explain it, but really, sometimes we just look at each other and we’re like ’Gets.’”

He added that Atasha is also his go-to person whenever he feels anxious, especially when it comes to work.
“Halimbawa, challenges sa work, ganu’n. Kapag may work na siyempre kinakabahan ako, ganu’n, I talk to my sister, and we always like to parang level with each other in a sense na ’O, ganito ’yun, ganiyan, ganiyan.’”
The actor said talking things through with his twin helps him stay grounded and confident, noting that they constantly support and guide each other through both personal and professional struggles.
Andres comes from one of showbiz’s most well-known families. He is the son of veteran actor Aga Muhlach and former beauty queen-actress Charlene Gonzalez, who have long been regarded as one of the industry’s most enduring couples. Growing up in a tight-knit household, Andres and Atasha were raised away from too much spotlight in their early years, but both are now gradually building their own careers while staying deeply connected as twins and best friends.
Aga Muhlach has long been regarded as one of the country’s most admired actors and endorsers, sustaining a career that has lasted for decades. He first rose to fame after starring in the youth classic Bagets, which quickly turned him into a household name. Through the years, he led numerous hit movies such as Sana Maulit Muli, Bakit Labis Kitang Mahal, and Miracle in Cell No. 7. In his personal life, Aga married former beauty queen Charlene Gonzalez on May 28, 2001, and together they have twins, Andres and Atasha, who are now pursuing careers of their own in entertainment.
More recently, Andres Muhlach shared that he has never had a girlfriend so far, explaining that it was a conscious choice. The young star said his busy schedule and work responsibilities take up most of his time. He added that while he has tried courting before, he has chosen to stay single for now.
Meanwhile, Aga Muhlach and his son Andres experienced a touching “full circle” moment during the opening night of Bagets The Musical. Andres stepped into the role of “Adie,” the same character his father famously portrayed years ago. The two were seen embracing on stage as the audience applauded both the original and the new generation’s version of the role. The cast and production team later celebrated the successful debut of the musical.
