"I won’t go into full detail - not because it isn’t important, but because some things are personal, and I know it might be uncomfortable for others too. What is important is this: I am well. I am better. And I’m slowly getting back into the groove."
The experience served as a potent reminder of how easily health is taken for granted, especially for a self-professed "workaholic" like Bianca.
"I am reminded by how easily we take our health for granted. I’ve always been a workaholic - someone who loves what she does, who shows up fully, who pushes through and keeps going even when the body is quietly asking for rest."
She became more aware of the cumulative effects of stress and responsibility on her body.

"I also became more aware of how much I had been carrying - the pace I was moving at, the demands of the work, and the quiet weight of responsibilities and personal things I don’t often talk about. Little by little, they caught up with me, even in ways I didn’t immediately notice. Over time, that became a big factor in my health decline that even coping has become more difficult and have affected my eating habits."
Bianca acknowledged a personal imbalance in caring for others while neglecting herself.
"I realized how good I am at taking care of the people around me - showing up, worrying, loving deeply - while often forgetting to take care of myself. Somewhere along the way, I learned to be strong for everyone else, but not always gentle with my own body and mind."
Now, her focus is on healing and adopting a healthier lifestyle moving forward.
"Now, I’m working on getting stronger again - not just for myself, but for the people I love. Because showing up for them also means showing up for me. Healing taught me that rest is not weakness, listening to your body is not laziness, and choosing yourself is not selfish."
She ended her message with a clear promise to herself for the year and a strong call to action for her followers.
"So this year, I’m making a promise to myself: I will take good care of my health. I will listen sooner. I will slow down when needed. And I will remember that health should always be at the top of all priorities. To anyone reading this - please take care of yourself too. Check in. Rest when your body asks you to. Choose what nourishes you. Because truly, health is wealth."
In a heartfelt postscript, Bianca thanked her loved ones, including her boyfriend Ruru Madrid, for their unwavering support during her recovery.
"P.s. To my mahal @rurumadrid8 and my sister @janaang, thank you 2 for taking extra extra extra good care of me. I love you both so very much!"
Bianca's powerful message highlights a crucial lesson about prioritizing personal wellness in a fast-paced world.
