"Napagtatawanan ko siya ngayon. Of course, 'pag binabalikan painful pa rin siya, but at least, now I'm more able to comfortably talk about it.”

Carla and Tom Rodriguez tied the knot in a private ceremony in October 2021, but their marriage quickly faced difficulties. After weeks of speculation, the two confirmed their separation in early 2022, with both parties choosing to stay mostly quiet about the reasons behind their split. Since then, Tom has moved on with his life, eventually getting married again abroad and later welcoming a child, marking a new chapter for him away from the local showbiz spotlight.

In contrast, Carla has also found happiness anew. In December 2025, she married Dr. Reginald Santos in an intimate and elegant wedding attended by close family and friends. The actress has since shared glimpses of her renewed sense of peace and joy, with fans expressing support as she embraces a fresh start after a difficult chapter in her personal life.
