The actor earlier posted a comment that netizens interpreted as making fun of the cake’s design, which quickly drew criticism online. Many felt the remark was insensitive, prompting Janus to eventually delete the post and respond to the backlash on Facebook.

Addressing the issue, Janus said he had already removed the comment and expressed frustration over the reaction, writing,

He later shared what he described as his New Year’s resolution, adding,
