“Thank you for being with us this year. We appreciate you all with all our heart,” Kuya Kim said, referring to the messages of sympathy, prayers, and encouragement sent by friends, colleagues, and followers.
He concluded the message by naming the members of his family and including Emman in the greeting, emphasizing that she remains part of their lives despite her absence. “Happy new year from Feli, Me, Jose, Eliana, and Emman smiling at us from up there!” Kuya Kim wrote.
While Kuya Kim did not elaborate further on his grief, the inclusion of Emman’s name underscored a message of remembrance and enduring connection, even as the family enters a new year without her physically present.
Over the past months, Kuya Kim has shared glimpses of how his family has coped, often centering on faith, togetherness, and gratitude. His New Year message continued that pattern, balancing sorrow with appreciation and hope. Rather than focusing on the details of loss, the post emphasized love, remembrance, and the importance of community.
