In December 2018, when Juancho began courting her, he invited her to spend Christmas with his entire family even though they had only just started getting to know each other. Joyce said that moment made her feel seen and welcomed, and years later, she now celebrates Christmas with the same family as she carries their third child and feels a true sense of belonging.

Merry Christmas from The Triviños, may the grace and glory of God be upon you and yours this season.”
