BINI is a Filipina girl group formed under ABS-CBN’s Star Hunt Academy. The eight-member group—Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena—made their public debut in November 2020 with the pre-debut single “Da Coconut Nut,” marking the beginning of their journey in the P-pop scene.
As previously reported by KAMI, BINI Mikha encouraged young artists to view mistakes as essential steps in the learning process. The P-pop girl group continued to make waves, promoting messages of empowerment and discipline. BINI released BINI Chapter 3: Hanggang Dulo, their most personal documentary to date. The installment offered behind-the-scenes footage from their world tour and highlighted their major Araneta homecoming show.
Last May, Mikha took to social media to react to criticism about her use of English in conversations. She addressed a netizen’s comment questioning her fluency in Tagalog, explaining her linguistic background as a Cebu native and her preference for clear and effective communication. Mikha emphasized that language choice should not be a source of judgment and encouraged followers to engage in understanding and constructive dialogue online. The P-pop group member’s response highlighted her thoughtful approach to navigating public scrutiny while promoting respect and open-mindedness in social media interactions.
