In her post on December 12, Catriona opened up about being caught in heavy congestion, reflecting on how the season often brings crowded streets, longer commutes, and heightened stress for many people. She wrote, “Just today, I got caught in one of the heaviest traffics of 2025. The holiday rush is real — louder crowds, busier streets, and tougher commutes. It’s the kind of day that tests our patience and makes it easy to snap at the people around us.”
The beauty queen and advocate then used the moment to encourage a more compassionate mindset, especially toward those who are working tirelessly during the busy season. She reminded her followers to pause and choose empathy despite the frustrations that come with delays. “So here’s a gentle reminder to choose kindness, especially toward the strangers we meet,” she said.
Catriona went on to specifically acknowledge service workers who bear the brunt of the holiday rush, particularly drivers navigating the congested roads. She expressed gratitude for their efforts, noting how their work often goes unnoticed despite the challenges they face. “A little gratitude for those who serve us, a little patience for our Grab Drivers powering through the traffic just for us to arrive at our holiday celebration safe and sound,” she shared.
