Ogie Alcasid is mourning the death of his beloved pet dog, Ringo, whom he described as a very special part of their family. The singer and songwriter shared his sadness on social media by posting two touching photos of him with Ringo, one taken when Ringo was still a puppy and another from when he was already grown up.

In his post, Ogie shared how hard the past few days had been as Ringo’s health declined. He said his heart broke every time he patted Ringo, knowing that their time together was coming to an end. Ogie remembered Ringo as a dog with a pure heart who loved their family from the very beginning.
Ogie also thanked Ringo for the joy and love he brought into their home. He shared how Ringo protected their house, warmly welcomed them and their guests, and filled their days with happiness through his loving presence.
At the end of his message, Ogie said goodbye to Ringo and wished him peace, saying he will always miss his loyal friend.
