“What Small Thing Brought Me Peace?
Today, I stayed in my sunroom… my quiet little corner where I can just breathe.
I opened the windows and the sliding door para pumasok ‘yung sariwang hangin. It’s gloomy today, but this type of season calms me. Just enough wind and rain… no noise, no rush, just peace.
Habang nakikinig ako sa patak ng ulan, I started planting arugula, lettuce, and kangkong. Then I took care of my succulents… wiping the leaves, rearranging them one by one.
There’s something about days like this that grounds me. Parang habang inaayos ko ‘yung mga halaman, inaayos ko rin ‘yung loob ko.
Later, I’ll finish one of my journals… our family travel journal.
Ang tagal ko na kasi gustong tapusin ‘yun, pero laging nauuna ang ibang bagay. This time, nilagay ko talaga sa schedule ko. I want to finish something today, kahit maliit lang. Kase kapag may natatapos ako ngayon, it reminds me that I’m getting better now..
Small steps lang. Hindi kailangang sabay-sabay. I’m learning to be gentle with myself… to move slowly, to not drown in my thoughts.
Today, peace came from opening the windows, smelling the rain, and realizing that even without sunlight, I can still bloom in my own quiet way.
What small thing brought you peace?”

Earlier, Chito Miranda shared on Instagram that he misses his family while touring with Parokya ni Edgar. The rock star said he feels grateful for their continued gigs but struggles with guilt and exhaustion from being away. Even during short breaks, he couldn’t fully enjoy time with loved ones due to errands and lack of rest.
