Rere Madrid recently opened up about her close relationship with her older brother, actor Ruru Madrid, particularly highlighting his generosity when it comes to money matters.

In her guest appearance on GMA’s Fast Talk With Boy Abunda, the young actress shared a lighthearted moment with the King of Talk when he asked if she ever asks her brother for money. “Pagdating sa pera, humihingi ka?”

Rere admitted that she does, describing how casual their conversations about money are. “Yes! Minsan, sobrang casual lang. Nakaupo kami… ‘Kuya, may PHP50,000 ka ba diyan? Pa-send naman.’ ‘Sige, ano banko mo?’” she said, drawing laughter from the audience. Netizens were impressed both by Rere’s honesty as well as Ruru’s generosity with his money.

Rere Madrid, who first gained attention as a finalist in StarStruck Season 7, has since made her mark in the entertainment industry through various Kapuso shows. Meanwhile, Ruru Madrid said his wedding scene in 'Black Rider' is perhaps the most difficult he has done so far. According to the actor, they shot the whole wedding scene in the course of around two weeks. The actor then expressed his gratitude to the staff.
