According to the report by GMA News, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) recorded a magnitude 7.6 earthquake in Manay, Davao Oriental at 9:43 a.m. The tremor was strong enough to be felt across several parts of Mindanao, prompting concerns for safety and possible aftershocks.
