Alden Richards has spoken up on social media about the alleged ₱35.2 billion fund insertions linked to former Bicol party-list representative Zaldy Co.

The lawmaker, who has been tied to controversies over questionable flood control projects, has drawn public criticism following reports of massive allocations funneled into Bulacan.

On Instagram, Alden shared an infographic that put into perspective how much money was involved in the alleged insertions. The post explained, “Para maubos mo ang 1 billion in a year, you need to spend 2.8 million pesos per day. Para maubos mo ang 35 billion in a year, you need to spend 98 million pesos per day.”

The Kapuso actor accompanied the post with a strong statement: “May araw ka rin.”
