Jessica first reentered the AGT stage nearly twenty years after her first stint on the show as a child, impressing early on with a Golden Buzzer from judge Sofía Vergara during her audition with “Beautiful Things”. In the weeks leading up to the finale, she also delivered a powerful performance of Alex Warren’s “Ordinary” while eight months pregnant, earning praise for her vocal strength, stage presence, and ability to perform under physically demanding conditions. Despite pregnancy challenges, she maintained consistency, connecting with viewers and building momentum toward the finals.

Runners-up were freestyle rapper Chris Turner in second place and singer Jourdan Blue in third. Judges from the panel – Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Mel B, and Sofía Vergara – all expressed admiration for Jessica’s win, not just for her vocal talent but for her resilience and emotional journey.

Jessica Sanchez becomes the first former contestant to win the show after participating back in AGT’s inaugural season in 2006, and the first female winner since Darci Lynne in 2017. Her story of returning stronger, embracing motherhood, and fulfilling her dreams while expecting her first child (a daughter due soon) made her triumph especially inspiring.
