On X, formerly Twitter, the Asia’s Songbird shared that even a small renovation in her household came with contracts and receipts, unlike billion-peso projects that reportedly operate without the same process.

“We are renovating Nates room now maliit na halaga lang ito and yet we have contracts we have receipts. Bilyon bilyo tapos cash lahat???? Nagtatanong lang po,” she wrote.

In another post, she described the hurdles that regular citizens face when applying for loans, including collateral requirements, interest, amortization, and the monthly effort to keep up with payments.

While she did not specify any particular project or institution in her posts, her statements have sparked ongoing discussions about systemic challenges faced by Filipinos in accessing financial resources, as well as concerns about how government and private entities manage large-scale expenditures.
