Xavi Panlilio, husband of Dani Barretto, shared a heartfelt tribute to the late Mito Barretto, Dani’s uncle, as he remembered fond memories and expressed his grief on social media.

In one Instagram Story, Xavi posted a family photo that included Mito along with other relatives.

In the on-screen caption, Xavi recalled a special moment with Mito, earnestly writing: “I vividly remember you singing this song during your last birthday as you were handing me a beer. Thank you for always making me feel welcome @mitobarrettojr.”

Xavi also honored his late uncle-in-law with a touching message that read: “To the tito everyone dreams of being, rest in peace OG!”

Hours later, he shared another photo, displaying a group shot with friends and relatives wearing barongs. On top of the smiling picture, he simply wrote: “Rest in peace, OG!” with Ambrosia’s “Biggest Part of Me” playing in the background.

The posts captured both the grief and gratitude Xavi feels for Mito, whom he described as someone who always made him feel at home in the Barretto family.
