On X, formerly Twitter, Lapus wrote, “Available po ako bukas sa mga gusto magpa-Lie Detector Test. Ty fyi,” seemingly offering his services to those caught in the middle of heated debates.
The post was a clear throwback to his hit segment “Don’t Lie To Me” from the now-defunct GMA-7 show Showbiz Central. In the segment, celebrities were strapped to a polygraph while Lapus delivered over-the-top performance whenever a lie was detected, making it one of the program’s most memorable features.
