The heartbreaking news was confirmed through an announcement posted on her official social media page. The statement read:

"With deep and heartfelt sorrow, we mourn the passing of Dennis Raz Gaspar, belovedly known as Dora De Zamboanga, who peacefully left us yesterday, August 25, 2025. Her remains are now at La Merced Chapel M."

The post went on to highlight Dora’s lasting impact and her many roles in the community:

"The First Night of Prayer Vigil for Dora De Zamboanga (Dennis Raz Gaspar) will be held tonight at 8:00 PM at La Merced Chapel M. We invite family, relatives, followers, supporters and friends to join us in prayer as we honor her life and lift her soul to the Lord."
