Ogie Diaz has once again used his platform to flag a misleading post circulating on social media. This time, the subject of the fake news involved actress Julia Barretto, her mother Marjorie Barretto, actor Gerald Anderson, and singer-actress Gigi De Lana.

The headline read: “SHOCKING NEWS: JULIA AND MARJORIE, SUED GIGI DE LANA! RELATIONSHIP WITH GERALD, EVIDENCE AND PREGNANCY ISSUE!”

The false report alleged that Julia and Marjorie had taken legal steps against Gigi over issues supposedly tied to Julia’s relationship with Gerald, even dragging in pregnancy rumors. However, no legitimate news outlet or official statement has confirmed such claims.

Marjorie Barretto is a Filipina former actress and politician. She hails from the prominent Barretto family, with sisters Gretchen and Claudine also being well-known figures in the Philippine entertainment industry. She is a mother to five children from different relationships. Her eldest daughter, Dani Barretto, was born from her relationship with actor Kier Legaspi. Marjorie later married comedian and actor Dennis Padilla in 1997, and they had three children together: Julia , Claudia, and Leon. Meanwhile, Marjorie's youngest child, Erich, was born from her relationship with former Caloocan Mayor Recom Echiverri.
