According to a report by Athena Imperial on 24 Oras Weekend aired Sunday, August 3, Carla has confirmed that she is now dating again.
"I've said it naman na before. It's about time na I open myself to dating, meeting new people. So I decided to try it," the actress said when asked about her current relationship status.
“There’s a second date. We’ll see if there’s gonna be more dates,” she added, hinting at the early stages of a potential romance.
While she admitted to seeing someone, she kept the man’s identity private.
Carla’s revelation follows weeks of online speculation sparked by an Instagram Story she posted, showing a romantic, candlelit dinner with a mystery hand holding a menu. Though no faces were shown, the ìntìmate setting quickly caught the attention of fans, igniting rumors about her current dating life.
Carla Abellana is a Filipino actress and model best known for her work with GMA Network. She comes from a family with deep roots in showbiz—her father is veteran actor Rey "PJ" Abellana. Carla is known for her roles in various television dramas and films, including the popular 2009 local adaptation of Mexican series "Rosalinda." Carla has worked with both GMA Network and Regal Films.
