Klea Pineda addresses third party rumors involving Janella Salvador after breakup

Klea Pineda has put an end to speculations linking Janella Salvador to her recent split with long-time girlfriend, Katrice Kierulf.

In an exclusive interview with GMA News at the recently held GMA Gala 2025, Klea addressed the issue head-on, denying the third party rumors.

“Ako na 'yung nagsasabi mismo sa inyo, walang third party na nangyari,” the Kapuso actress said.

She clarified that their friendship formed naturally on the set of Open Endings, where she and Janella, along with Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Leanne Mamonong, spent most of their time together.

“Yung closeness namin ni Janella inevitable siya kasi magkasama kami sa film. So, kaming apat sa film, si Jasmine, si Leanne, si Janella and me, yung closeness namin talagang na-develop during shooting days namin,” Klea explained.

Klea ended her statement with a firm appeal to the public.

“The third party issue, come on, guys! Tama na,” she aired, asking the public to stop spreading false stories.

In July, Klea confirmed the end of her three-year relationship with Katrice, whom she introduced to the public after coming out as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community during her 24th birthday in March 2023. The couple had celebrated their third anniversary earlier this year in January.

Klea Pineda is an actress and model in the Philippines. She rose to fame after she was hailed as the Ultimate Female Survivor in 'Starstruck Season 6.' She also made her mark as a Kapuso actress who starred in the shows 'Encantadia' and 'Ika-5 Utos'.

Janella Salvador, on the other hand, is a Filipina actress. She is the daughter of Jenine Desiderio and Rage band frontman, Juan Miguel Salvador. She rose to fame for her portrayal of Nikki Grace “Nik-Nik” Lim in "Be Careful With My Heart." She played the role of Valentina in ABS-CBN's "Mars Ravelo's Darna" series. She has a child with her former boyfriend Markus Paterson named Jude Trevor Paterson.

In a previous report by KAMI, actress Janella Salvador recently stirred buzz online after posting a cryptic message on X about the “right time.” The vague post quickly caught the attention of her fans, sparking various speculations. Many wondered if it hinted at an upcoming project or a personal revelation. As of now, Janella has yet to provide any clarification regarding the post.

Earlier, Janella Salvador had a lovely and fun-filled birthday celebration. She has taken to her Instagram page to share glimpses of the íntímate party. Her friends like Jane De Leon and LA Santos were present during the fete. It is worth noting that Janella turned 27 years old last March 30.
