In a previous report, Angelu shared a quote about forgiveness. In the quote that the actress-politician posted on her socmed account, she talked about forgiveness as grace granted by the Divine. The quote also talks about the Divine knowing what to “forgive faster than others can apologize.”

Earlier, Angelu's name was dragged into Claudine's viral moment during the 20th wedding anniversary party of her friend Gladys and Christopher Roxas. While speaking onstage, Claudine revealed that she is willing to have a reunion project with Gladys and Judy Ann Santos but not with Angelu De Leon. Gladys was visibly shocked after hearing Claudine’s statement. According to Claudine, she was just being honest, adding that she is “maldita” and not “suplada.”
