“59. Thank you to all who reached out the past week and most especially, today. My heart is bursting with so much love and joy and gratitude,” she wrote.

Isidro shared that, despite the many years that have passed, life continues to humble her with new insights and challenges. “I thought I knew everything because of the many years that passed me. But life, as it happens everyday, still manages to teach me a lesson, or two,” she said.

She then listed some of the valuable lessons that have shaped her outlook: “To grab the opportunity when it’s in front of you. To be patient, especially at difficult times. To always be kind, especially to ourselves, just because it makes for a better world. To listen to our bodies, because rest is just as important as activity. That we don’t always get what we want no matter how hard we try, and that’s ok.”

Looking ahead, she embraces the coming years with openness and humility. “As I step into the next level, let all these lessons be a reminder that there are more lessons to be learned. That honestly, I know nothing.”
