According to ABS-CBN News’ article titled “No bad blood? Vice Ganda, MC Muah spotted at comedy club,” Vice and MC were seen on stage at Vice Comedy Club in Quezon City on Friday, July 11, putting an end to speculations that their friendship was over.
To recall, the speculations surfaced after Vice called out her long-time friend MC in a vlog. It became a hot topic on social media, initiating discussions on whether it's appropriate to call out a friend publicly.
Vice Ganda, whose real name is Jose Marie Viceral, is a famous comedian, host, actor, singer, and entrepreneur in the Philippines. He is well known as the main host of the noontime show It’s Showtime and for his blockbuster movies such as Praybeyt Benjamin, Fantastica, and The Super Parental Guardians. Aside from being an entertainer, he is also an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community and has a strong influence on the country’s pop culture.
Previously, Vice Ganda made her friend MC Muah cry in her most recent vlog taken in Palawan. There, Vice and her known circle of friends did something like a "Q&A" portion where her friends were given the freedom to ask her any question. When it was MC's turn to ask Vice, the simple Q&A made an unexpected turn when the latter pointed out the alleged not so likeable attitude of the former. According to Vice, they waited for MC on two different occasions. "Kasi nga di'ba? Hindi marunong makisama," Vice said in a serious tone. "'Pag kayo may rampa, kayong grupo, anong mararamdaman niyo 'yung kasama niyo papasok sa kwarto tapos lalabas kung kailan niya bet tapos aantayin natin siya, di'ba?"
Meanwhile, Vice Ganda revealed that he and Ion Perez are undergoing regular therapy to cope with the emotional toll of “It’s Showtime’s” 12-day suspension in 2023. The comedian shared that the suspension and public backlash deeply affected their mental health, with Ion feeling guilty and blaming himself for the controversy. He also recounted a therapy session where their psychiatrist said Ion’s prayers were entirely about Vice’s well-being and never about himself. Despite the challenges, Vice emphasized how the experience strengthened their bond and highlighted the depth of Ion’s love and devotion.
