Ronnie Liang pays heartfelt tribute to ABS-CBN: “Maraming salamat”

Ronnie Liang is among those who have taken to social media to pay tribute to ABS-CBN before the demolition of its iconic Millennium Transmitter and broadcasting building.

On Friday, July 11, he shared a heartwarming video showing him posing before the historic tower.
Along with the reel, the “Ngiti” hitmaker expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the media giant.

“Na naging part po ako noong 2006 during the Pinoy Dream Academy reality search at tumagal ako hanggang 2010 na bahagi ng Kapamilya network. Binago niyo po ang buhay ko at tinulungan matupad ang aking mga pangarap. Nagkaroon ng Hitsong na Ngiti, mga albums, world tour (concerts) naging parte ng mga ilang serye at musical variety shows,” he continued, recollecting his precious milestones with ABS-CBN.
“Maraming salamat sa lahat ng pagtanggap at pagtitiwala. Saan man ako mapunta hinding hindi ko makakalimutan ang mga kabutihang mga nagawa niyo sa akin,” the actor-singer earnestly penned.
“Maraming salamat pong muli @abscbn Kapamilya. ’In the service of the Filipino People Worldwide,’” he gratefully concluded his post.

Ronnie de Guzman Liang, better known as Ronnie Liang, is a Filipino singer, actor, model, pilot, and Army reservist. He rose to fame after finishing as second runner-up in the debut season of Pinoy Dream Academy in 2006, with his song “Ngiti” becoming a big hit. He later pursued a career in both music and acting, releasing albums and appearing in various TV shows and movies. Aside from showbiz, Ronnie also became a licensed private pilot and earned a master’s degree. He was eventually promoted to First Lieutenant in the Philippine Army Reserve. His journey continues to inspire many through his music, public service, and achievements.
In a previous report by KAMI, Ronnie Liang issued a reminder to the public about the fake videos of him that were used to ask for money from people. The said fake videos were manipulated by AI (Artificial Intelligence) and were believed to have victimized over 100 women. In a statement in front of selected press people yesterday, Liang shared how he was exploited online in fake and edited AI videos. His videos were used to “build romance” and ask for money from women, according to an article by Inquirer.
