Solis died on Thursday, July 3, after her long battle with kidney disease. She was 78 years old.
In an emotional social media post, Ferrer shared a carousel post containing photos and clips featuring the late entertainment columnist and talent manager.
In the caption, he expressed his earnest gratitude to Manay Lolit and bid farewell to her.

Ferrer then vowed to treasure his memory of his fellow talent manager.
“Your morning texts will no longer brighten up my day, but I’ll cherish the memories of our daily exchanges. Your birthday celebration will forever be etched in my mind – a testament to the love and joy you brought to those around you.”
He went on to fondly pen, “We loved you in a way that not many can understand, and that’s okay. Your fierce spirit and unapologetic nature were a shield to those who didn’t get you, but to us, it was a reminder of your strength and resilience.”
“Rest now, NAY LOLIT. Your love and laughter will live on in our hearts,” Ferrer concluded his heartbreaking post.
Lolit Solis was a well-known personality in the Philippine showbiz industry. Born on May 20, 1947, in Sampaloc, Manila, she started her career as an entertainment news writer and later became a talent manager and host of television talk shows.
