Singer and actor Ice Seguerra is grieving the loss of his mother, Mommy Caring, who passed away early this morning at 7:54 AM. In an emotional social media post, Ice paid tribute to the woman he described as the “most amazing” person he has ever known.

“This morning, at 7:54 AM, our family said goodbye to the most amazing woman I’ve ever known: my mom, Mommy Caring,” Ice wrote.

He described his mother as strong, kind, and quietly funny, someone who never left his side throughout his life and career.

“She was strong, kind, funny in her own quiet way, and always, always there. Mula bata pa ako hanggang ngayon, she never left my side. Every show, every gig, every milestone, she was there. She was always present.”

Ice recalled how his mother cared for him with unwavering love, always checking in, sending his favorite food, and even offering massages when he wasn’t feeling well. Despite having her own life, she made sure she remained deeply involved in the lives of her children.

“She supported me not just as an artist, but as her child. She was my fiercest protector. She accepted me and embraced me for who I am, especially who I am not.”

He also credited his mother as his first teacher and biggest cheerleader, sharing how her loss feels like losing a part of himself. Yet even in pain, Ice promised to be brave—just as she taught him.

“Losing her this morning feels like losing a part of myself. Pero promise ko sa iyo diba, mama, brave ako. Ikaw ang nagturo sa akin kung paano maging matatag sa harap ng mga sakit na binabato ng buhay. I won’t fail you. Promise ko yun.”

Mommy Caring is survived by Ice and his brother, Juan Carlos Miguel. Ice mentioned that details of her wake will be shared soon, and asked the public for prayers and love for their family during this time.

“Right now, I just want to ask for your prayers and your love for our family, and most of all, for my beloved mama.”

He ended his post with a message of love and comfort, knowing Caring is now reunited with his late husband.

“We’ll miss you forever, Mama. Pero magkasama na kayo ni Daddy. And that gives me comfort. Mahal na mahal kita, mama ko.”

Earlier, Ice shared on social media his admiration for Gary Valenciano despite feeling ill in rehearsal. It can be recalled that Gary had to be put on an IV due to dehydration but he continued his performance. Ice praised Gary's dedication to putting on an amazing show despite the challenge. Ice said he was more impressed with Gary and thanked him for the inspiration he provides.
