Kris Bernal has taken to social media to share a meaningful post with her numerous followers.

On Instagram Stories, Kris penned an insightful reflection about growing old.

Her post claimed that the older someone gets, the more they prefer tranquility over disagreement or clash.

“The older you get, the more you choose calm over conflict and distance over disrespect.”

She stated that drama becomes uncomfortable as someone ages and peace is now their top priority.

“Drama becomes intolerable to you and your peace becomes your ultimate priority,” she penned.

“You start surrounding yourself with people who are good for your mental health, heart, and soul,” she continued, alluding to associating with people who are beneficial to one’s overall well-being.

Kris Bernal is a Filipina actress who rose to prominence after winning in the fourth season of the reality-based talent search "StarStruck" on GMA Network, and has since starred in various Kapuso shows, often paired with Aljur Abrenica. Her notable works include "Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin?", "The Last Prince", and "Asawa Ko, Karibal Ko", for which she received the "Most Outstanding Filipina Actress in Television" award. Kris became beloved for her acting chops and her beauty.

Kris is married to businessman Perry Choi, and she had one of the grandest weddings among celebrities the year she got married. In previous post on Instagram, Kris Bernal proudly flexed the nearly-finished house that she and husband, Perry Choi, have commissioned to build. In her post, Kris shared a video of the house which is still under construction. In the video, one can see that the house is huge and can even be considered palatial by some standards. Calling it “Casa Choi,” Kris said that while its completion is still a bit far, but its construction has already gone a long way.

Kris Bernal addressed online criticisms about her during an interview on GMA's "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda." Tito Boy Abunda asked Kris about being compared to Heart Evangelista, accused of being too thin, and bashed for having a big house. She believes some netizens bash her because she shares her life publicly on social media but holds no grudges against them. Instead of responding online, she chooses to talk to her husband about the criticisms she receives. Kris also admitted to being pretentious at times in the past and is now working on being more authentic.
