Vice spoke about the inevitable connection between love and pain, saying, “When you give someone the opportunity to love you, you’re opening the possibility of being hurt by that person because mahal mo siya… Magkambal sila. ’Pag minahal ka niya, masasaktan at masasaktan ka niya. Kasi hindi ka masasaktan ng tao kundi mo mahal.” He emphasized that pain is not just a possibility but a part of love itself, and that embracing it deepens the emotional experience.
“You just have to accept and embrace that fact because that’s part of being in love,” Vice added. “That hurt will add beauty to that kind of love that you will feel. So don’t over protect yourself from getting hurt because whatever you do, you will still get hurt and that is a fact.”
He concluded with a reminder not to let fear rob people of meaningful experiences: “Yung fear will take away that chance to experience the beauty of that one thing.”

Vice Ganda, whose real name is Jose Marie Viceral, is a famous comedian, host, actor, singer, and entrepreneur in the Philippines. He is well known as the main host of the noontime show It’s Showtime and for his blockbuster movies such as Praybeyt Benjamin, Fantastica, and The Super Parental Guardians. Aside from being an entertainer, he is also an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community and has a strong influence on the country’s pop culture.
In a previous report by KAMI, Vice Ganda issued an important reminder to everyone after the disqualification of a TNT contestant. It can be recalled that they announced the disqualification of Marco Adobas from the 'TNT All-Star Grand Resba 2025'. It's reportedly for violating some of the agreed upon agreements in a signed waiver by every TNT "resbaker." After announcing the removal of Adobas from the competition, Vice Ganda reminded everyone to be cautious about the agreements that they were about to sign, and ultimately, she said, "Iba ang opinyon, pero iba ang akusasyon."
Additionally, Vice Ganda was shocked after discovering that one of their contestants wasn't "knowledgeable" about the COMELEC. This happened in the recently concluded weekly finals in 'S3xy Babe' of their noontime show 'It's Showtime.' A 20-year-old weekly finalist was asked "Ano ang mensahe mo sa COMELEC?" The contestant initially responded by saying, "Sorry po, hindi po ako masyadong knowledgeable about sa COMELEC."
