Posting throwback photos with her late mother and grandfather (“ampa”), Sheena opened up about the pain of reliving her past for the drama episode.

”I was so scared of reliving moments in my life that completely ruined me, akala ko hindi ko kaya and I would just be a mess,” she wrote. “But God was here, He has always been here for me kahit I have resented Him so much back then. He made me feel my mommy and ampa’s love all over again as if they never left me. And right there and then I got their message for me.”

Sheena went on to share how telling her story brought a sense of purpose to her grief. “Through this I will have a chance to inspire so many people. People who are broken, lost and hopeless,” she said. “Through me I can tell a message that once you lost something, it will not be the end for you. Instead it can be a start of something.”
