Actress and comedian Chariz Solomon got candid in a recent interview on GMA’s Fast Talk With Boy Abunda, revealing that she is still grieving the end of her marriage with former husband Nestor Ng, despite being in a new relationship with current partner Vince Teotico.

Chariz and Nestor were married in 2012 and have two children together. The couple separated in 2018, and after several years, their annulment was finalized earlier this year. While Chariz has since moved forward, she admitted that the emotional weight of the separation remains with her.
“Actually, Tito Boy, naggi-grieve pa rin ako kasi, siyempre, pamilya ko rin siya, e, at hindi magbabago ’yun,” she shared. “Ang dami pong huge part of my life, almost half of my life, siya ’yung kasama ko talaga… Talagang sa kaniya na ako lumaki.”
Chariz described the breakup as something she still struggles to fully understand, despite having accepted it.

“Mabait siyang tao… sometimes, people grow apart… may mga bagay lang talaga na kailangan mangyari, hindi sinasadya, pero it will happen and you can’t stop it,” she said, her voice steady yet emotional.
Despite the pain, Chariz expressed gratitude for their co-parenting setup and how they’ve remained cordial for the sake of their children.
“We’re very okay… sa children’s parties namin, pwede na kami together, magkasama, so masaya ako… lahat po ng mga tao sa buhay ng daddy nila, nakakausap nila din. We’re very okay and I thank God for that every day.”
Her honesty touched many viewers, who praised her for her maturity, vulnerability, and strength in navigating both heartbreak and healing while prioritizing her children’s well-being.
Chariz Solomon is a popular actress on the Kapuso network. Aside from being a cast member in “Pepito Manaloto,” she is also a part of the comedy gag show entitled “Bubble Gang.”

In the comments section of her post, it is noticeable that the Kapuso star replied to a netizen who asked whether it’s true that the show aired its last episode last Saturday. She answered, “Sadly, opo,” and hoped for the best days ahead for the team. She also penned nothing but nice words about the “TP” team.
