Model and actress Maureen Wroblewitz has revealed on Instagram why she left the Philippines and started a new life in Los Angeles, California.

In a heartfelt post, Maureen shared that it’s been over a year since she made the big move, explaining that she never officially announced her departure until now. She admitted that when she first posted a video on TikTok during that time, she was already in the process of relocating.

“It’s been a little over a year since I moved here. I never officially posted that I left the Philippines but when I posted the first video on Tiktok I was in the process of moving,” Maureen wrote.

She recalled how she had confided in a friend about her excitement to leave her comfortable life behind and start fresh, adding that while the journey hasn’t been easy, it’s been worth it.

“Before I moved I told a friend how I was excited to leave my comfortable life back and start again and boy did I start again. It has definitely not been easy but I do have a habit of getting out of my comfort zone to grow as a person.”

Now settled in Southern California, Maureen says she has fallen in love with her new home.

“The longer I am here, the more I love it! I’ve met such incredible people, made the best friends, discovered I had family in Socal and so much more.”

She ended her message by encouraging her followers to take bold steps in life, even if they seem scary at first.

”I really encourage ya’ll to do something that scares you because it’ll always be worth it in the end!!!”

Maureen Wroblewitz is a Filipino-German model who gained prominence after winning the 2017 edition of “Asia’s Next Top Model.” She used to be in a relationship with popular music artist Juan Karlos Labajo until their breakup mid-year in 2022.
