Two years after the tragic car accident that claimed the life of his fellow Sparkle actor Andrei Sison, Josh Ford has finally broken his silence, opening up about the grief he continues to carry as the lone survivor.

During a heartfelt conversation on the livestream of Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition, Josh sat down with celebrity house guest and PBB host Gabbi Garcia, revealing the emotional weight of losing not just one, but three close friends in that fateful crash.

The accident, which occurred in March 2023, took the lives of Sison, the vehicle’s driver Paolo Bueza, and another passenger, Arman Velasco. Josh, then a rising talent under GMA’s Sparkle, was the only one who survived. Since then, he has rarely spoken about the incident—until now.

“Ang sakit lang kasi parang kapatid ko na ’yung mga ‘yon,” Josh shared, his voice cracking as he recalled their bond. “When I’m alone at home, sila ‘yung palaging nandoon.”

Josh reminisced about the simple moments that showed how much his friends cared for him. “Minsan nga after taping, umuwi ako tapos laba na ’yung mga damit ko because of them,” he said, recalling how they would even help him with chores after a long day of work.

Despite the pain, Josh said he chooses to believe his friends are now in a better place. “I always hope na happy sila and I’m sure they are,” he added quietly.

As reported years ago, 16-year-old Sparkle artist Andrei Sison, died in a car accident. This was confirmed by the talent agency through its official statement. The said accident happened early in the morning, and the agency requested everyone to respect the family's privacy. As per GMA's report, Andrei became popular because of his videos posted on the social media platform TikTok.

In another report, veteran singer Marco Sison spoke about his grandson Andrei’s death. He shares: “"Nahulog 'yan sa 3rd floor ng condo na tinutuluyan nila. And then ito na 'yung nakasakay ka ng kotse naka-seatbelt ka. Lahat ng protkesyon, airbag everything. So full of life, so promising so talented, and then wala lang, hanggang dun lang. Hindi manlang niya naranasan ang sarap ng buhay ng isang tao.”
