Miel Pangilinan, daughter of famous couple Sharon Cuneta and Kiko Pangilinan, took to TikTok to call out some of the older netizens who have been constantly bashing her on social media.

According to Miel, some of those people called her a waste of genes, harassed her, and insulted the way she looks. She also lamented that if she tries to defend herself, those same people would accuse her of being super sensitive.

Miel also expressed her desire to be a positive presence online and to stay in her lane. Some netizens expressed their support for Miel and urged her bashers to stop their negativity.

“Old people calling me a waste of genes, constantly harassing me and insulting my appearance (I didn’t do anything and if I say something they’ll call me the sensitive one).

”Trying to just kind of exist positively online and trying my best to stay in my lane.”

Miel Pangilinan is the daughter of Megastar Sharon Cuneta, a prominent and veteran celebrity in the Philippines. She is also the sibling of actress and celebrity entrepreneur, KC Concepcion, Sharon’s daughter with actor Gabby Concepcion.

In a previous post, Miel was told by a netizen that she has to stop eating rice to lose weight. On TikTok, the celebrity teen bravely responded to the netizen’s unsolicited advice. Sharon Cuneta’s daughter described the netizen’s comment as very unnecessary, unwarranted, and offensive. She also opened up about her past struggles with an eating disorder and body-image issues.

In a related post, Miel's mom, Sharon penned a sweet and heartwarming birthday greeting. On Saturday, September 2, the celebrity mom took to Instagram to greet her daughter, Miel Pangilinan. In her lengthy Instagram post, Sharon went on to thank Miel for a lot of things. Among the things she was thankful for was Miel being a "good daughter."
