On Twitter, Romnick criticized the sentiment of some people that wearing a mask is inconvenient.

For the actor, what is more inconvenient is to risk the health and safety of the elderly and those with pre-existing conditions.

For this reason, the actor urged the public to continue wearing masks for the sake of the vulnerable. According to Romnick, wearing a mask is not for himself but for the people who can be severely affected by the virus.

Romnick Sarmenta is a veteran actor who became popular in the ‘90s. He and his wife Harlene Bautista called it quits after 19 years of marriage. Harlene and Romnick have five children – one boy and four girls.

In January of this year, Romnick and his wife, Barbara Ruaro, have become one of the topics of Ogie Diaz's showbiz update. In the video, Mama Loi shared that Barbara has been accused by her customers of allegedly taking their money away. Upon hearing this, Ogie revealed that he contacted Romnick who explained their situation to the talent manager. According to Romnick, his partner initially began online selling to save money for her pregnancy.
