Morissette Amon was a special guest on the ABS-CBN morning talk show “Magandang Buhay.”

KAMI learned that during her guesting, Morissette shared why she kept her wedding with Dave Lamar a secret at first.

The singer explained that she wanted to keep her wedding private so that she, Dave, and their loved ones can enjoy it for themselves for at least several months.

"Hindi muna namin in-announce agad kasi we just want it to have it within us and our circle. So we will able to enjoy it naman for the past months at then nung January lang namin in-announce. Kaya feeling ng mga tao sobrang bilis, pero 'yun,” Morissette shared.

She added that she and Dave have yet to experience a grand honeymoon abroad due to travel restrictions amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Nag-honeymoon naman ng small. Originally bago po kami na-engage ang gusto talaga namin na honeymoon is out of the country. Siyempre pandemic din so nag-road trip na lang muna," she stated.

Morissette Amon is a Filipino singer known for her powerful, intense, and emotional singing style. She became popular after being part of the first season of The Voice PH. Her covers on YouTube have garnered millions of views already. She is now married to Dave Lamar.

The proposal, she claimed, took place over a "breathtaking sunset." The pair opted to tell their family and closest friends first before informing the public.

Earlier, Morissette shared photos of her new home's exterior. She was hesitant to share the photos, but she still did so in order to inspire others. By working hard as a musician for many years, the star was able to acquire this huge home. Ultimately, she stated that accomplishing her goals takes balance, patience, determination, and faith.
