Ogie Diaz reacted to the claims that the people seen allegedly receiving money for attending the UniTeam campaign rally in Tarlac City were planted.
Earlier, what appeared to be a screengrab of the video of an alleged cash distribution for people who attended the said campaign rally surfaced online.
Atty. Vic Rodriguez, former Senator Bongbong Marcos’ spokesman, denied the allegations, claiming that the people on the said screengrab were planted by the “dilawans.”
Ogie would have none of it, however, as he immediately reposted the news of ABS-CBN, adding the caption that it is impossible for the people to have been allegedly planted.

He said that if it only happened once, there might be reason to think they were planted.
“Kung once lang siguro nangyari, pwede pang planted or nagkataon lang,” Ogie wrote in the caption of his repost.
The showbiz reporter and talent manager then said that the same issue has been allegedly recurring, making him believe that it is impossible for the people to have been planted.
“Pero yung nadadalas ang ganitong isyu? Parang imposibleng planted,” Ogie said.
In the ABS-CBN news that was reposted by Ogie, one can see what appeared to be a screengrab of the video of people lining up to allegedly to receive money for attending the campaign rally.
Ogie Diaz, or Roger Diaz Pandaan in real life, is a Pinoy actor, comedian, entertainment reporter, and talent manager. He was born on January 2, 1970 in Quezon City and was known as “Pekto” in the popular and long-running TV sitcom, “Palibhasa Lalaki.” He is also known as the talent manager of award-winning actress, Liza Soberano, and is also the man behind the YouTube channel, “Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update.” He started his career in showbiz in 1987 as entertainment reporter Cristy Fermin’s assistant at the Mariposa Publications. He later went on to become a successful talent manager.
Recently, Ogie posted a “resibo” on his social media account about one of the congressional bills that then congresswoman and now VP Leni Robredo filed back in 2013. The bill mandates the full disclosure of all government agencies and its branches of all its transactions for the benefit of the public. It would allow people to access financial data at any time without going through a lot of bureaucratic red tape. Ogie said the bill, which was filed in 2013, shows the kind of good and honest government that VP Leni wants.
Previously, the talent manager said he's worried about veteran actress Elizabeth Oropesa after Eric Nicolas admitted his performances with UniTeam's campaign is only work. The celebrity, however, clarified what he's not getting paid, though this did not deter some to hold him to his earlier statement, which indicated he's being paid. As for Ogie, he somewhat jokingly said he's worried Elizabeth Oropesa might go ahead with her earlier dare to have her limbs cut off if artists with the UniTeam are getting paid for their services.
