According to Maxene, she thanked God for protecting her and keeping her safe last year.

She revealed that she also cried while welcoming the New Year because she felt overwhelmed with gratitude for the blessings and lessons she received last year.

The actress believes that 2022, Year of the Tiger, will be an awesome year for her since she was also born in the Year of the Tiger.

Maxene is currently a hot topic on social media after she seemingly deleted the photos of her husband, Rob Mananquil, and removed Rob’s surname from her name on Instagram.

“How I welcomed the New Year! I purposefully went home from my trip on December 31 so that I could meditate during the countdown.
“From 11pm to 12am, I just sat in quiet meditation. Breathing and praying silently to thank the Divine for keeping me safe and protected all throughout the year.
“I also cried a few tears because I was feeling overwhelmed with gratitude for all the blessings and lessons that I was able to receive. This was what my soul felt like doing to celebrate the coming of a New Year—just to breathe and be with God.

“It’s the Year of The Tiger, btw which happens to be the same as the year I was born. Sooo.. #Maxenergy will be in full effect the whole year,” Maxene wrote on Instagram.

Maxene Magalona is an actress and social media star in the Philippines. Her father is the late rap legend, Francis Magalona, and her siblings are Saab Magalona and Elmo Magalona. She is married to Rob Mananquil.

Months ago, Maxene posted on Instagram that she has left Bali after staying there for more than a year. The actress said that she cannot believe she is finally back in Manila and that adjusting to being back in the city might not be so easy.

Earlier, Maxene penned a lengthy social media post dedicated to her spouse Rob Mananquil. In the said post, the actress expressed appreciation to Rob who opted to stay by her side after seeing her at her worst. She likewise said that her husband’s love has truly been the greatest form of therapy for her healing.
