Vice Ganda urged the public to help the Filipinos affected by the super typhoon Odette.
KAMI learned that Vice set a great example by donating his talent fee to the people in need.
According to Vice, it is not enough to be happy and celebrate the Christmas season and that thinking about helping others is also important.
The comedian shared that the ABS-CBN Foundation is accepting both cash donations and relief goods to send to the victims of the typhoon.
“Habang tayo’y nagkakasiyahan, alam kong marami tayong ginagawa, marami tayong naplano, pero as our lives go on, ‘wag nating kalimutan na may mga nangangailangan na mga Kapamilya natin ng tulong na mga nabiktima ng bagyong Odette sa Cebu, sa Siargao, at sa napakaraming lugar sa Pilipinas. Kaya sana magtulong-tulong po tayo, kailangan po tayo ng mga kababayan natin.
“Again, alam ko Pasko ngayon, nagkakasiyahan tayo pero isipin pa rin natin kahit papaano isama natin sa mga plano natin ang mga kababayan nating nabiktima ng Odette.

“Kung may mga gusto hong magdonate, puntahan niyo ‘yung mga social media accounts namin sa Instagram, sa IG Stories ko. Pinost ko ‘dun kung saan kayo pwedeng magdonate [sa] ABS-CBN Foundation...
“At bilang panimula, yung TF (talent fee) ko ngayong araw ibibigay ko sa Sagip Kapamilya para sa mga Kapamilya natin,” Vice said.
Vice Ganda is a famous comedian, actor, endorser and host in the Philippines. He is best known for hosting “It’s Showtime” and for his commercially successful movies in the MMFF. The superstar is currently in a relationship with Ion Perez.
He went viral during his live interview with his friend and former “It’s Showtime” co-host, Billy Crawford. The latter cried during the interview because he has to transfer from ABS-CBN to TV5 so that he can have more projects and provide for his family.
In one of his vlogs, Vice Ganda also touched hearts online when he opened up about his personal issues. The Kapamilya star admitted to feeling lonely and hopeless because of the ongoing pandemic, the ABS-CBN franchise crisis, and the sudden death of his best friend.
