He is also the father of actress Kylie Padilla, the wife of Aljur Abrenica. Robin will run for senator in the 2022 Elections.
Robin and Mariel's throwback photo was recently uploaded on the latter’s Instagram account. The viral photo was taken 12 years ago when Mariel was just 26 years old. Some celebrities expressed their joy in seeing the sweet throwback pic. They include popular stars Melai Cantiveros, RR Enriquez, and Karla Estrada.
In a previous report by KAMI, Kylie Padilla conveyed her love for writing by composing a long poem for Robin. On her father's 52nd birthday, she shared the poem on her Instagram account. The actress wrote about her father's teachings and how she finds comfort in his arms. At the end of the poem, the Kapuso actress added her initials, "KNP."
