Karla Estrada made headlines recently after revealing on social media that she is going back to school at the age of 47.

The actress-host is now a student at Philippine Christian University, located in Malate, Manila.

In an interview with KAMI, Karla explained why she decided to go back to school.

According to Karla, she has always regretted not finishing school due to her busy schedule as an actress providing for her family.

“One of the things I regret in life is not being able to finish my education. Kasi gusto ko talagang mag-aral. It just so happened na kailangan nating mag artista at mag trabaho to provide for my family,” Karla said.

However, Karla also believes that it is never too late to go back to school if one is passionate about it. The celebrity mommy shared that when the opportunity came for her to go back to school, she made sure not to waste it.

“I always believe that nothing is too late when you put your heart into it. Dumating ang chance na ito so I grabbed it,” she explained.

She also believes that her decision to study again will contribute to her personal happiness and future success. Furthermore, Karla hopes that her passion for school can inspire others to take education seriously as well.

“I think makakatulong ito sa aking self fulfillment at future plans in life at maging insperasyon narin sa nakararami. So I’m very thankful for this opportunity. I will do my best para matapos ko ito,” Karla stated.

Karla Estrada is a well-known actress, singer and television host in the Philippines. She is the mother of superstar actor Daniel Padilla. Her other children are Magui, Jose Carlito, and Carmela Ford. The celebrity mom became more popular due to the morning talk show “Magandang Buhay.”

In a previous report by KAMI, Karla Estrada commented on her friend, Ruffa Gutierrez's post on Instagram. In the post, the latter happily shared that she received two offers and good news. Furthermore, Karla expressed her support and admiration for her dear friend. As for Ruffa, she apparently appreciated Karla's sweet words as she also replied to her with a touching remark.
