Valerie Concepcion and her husband, Francis Sunga, have decided to come forward and explain the 'car seat' issue regarding their newborn son, Viktor.

Previously, a video of Baby Viktor sitting in a car seat went viral among netizens, with some criticizing the viral video over 'safety concerns.'

Since then, Francis took to his Instagram page, @franchise_33, to upload a video from a different angle showing the baby is safe inside the car seat.

"See how it looks totally different in a different angle. In Murica, they inspect your car seat down to how its buckled and secured before they discharge mommy and baby. Salamat po sa mga concerns niyo," he wrote.

Meanwhile, in the comments section, Valerie penned a lengthy comment talking about the specific car seat that they are using in America.

"This is the last comment I’ll leave here on this post. PLEASE google our car seat — Chicco Unico Plus. It is suitable for little ones from birth till 12 years of age or 0-36kgs. It's so heartbreaking that some people would resort to parent shaming just because they think they’re right. I hope and pray that they’ll realize I’m not the only one who uses this kind of car seat for infants. 2023 na po, not everyone uses the traditional ones anymore. It won’t be approved by professionals naman if it's not safe. And I know concern lang po kayo sa anak namin and we appreciate it. But I think it's safe to assume that us parents have the utmost concern when it comes to our child’s safety. Yun lang po. God bless," she wrote.

It can be recalled that Valerie and Francis Sunga welcomed their baby boy named Viktor Francis last October 25. Exactly a week after giving birth to Viktor, the actress posted the reel, which displays snapshots of the adorable baby.

Meanwhile, in December 2019, Valerie tied the knot with her non-showbiz boyfriend, Francis Sunga. The garden wedding, which was attended by their close friends and families, was held at The Hills in Cavite. Valerie previously said in an interview that she and her Guam-based boyfriend first met in January 2017. It was in August 2018 when the actress got engaged to Francis.
