Maine rose to prominence after her Dubsmash videos went viral, which helped her land a role as Yaya Dub in the country’s longest-running noontime show, "Eat Bulaga." She eventually landed roles in various movies and TV series, with one of them helping her win Best Supporting Actress during the 41st Metro Manila Film Festival. The actress is now married to actor-politician Arjo Atayde.

This was after the couple gifted her and Arjo Atayde a sculpture by Ronald Castrillo Sculptures & Artworks. The beautiful sculpture was inspired by Maine and Arjo’s stunning Baguio wedding. Maine took to Instagram Stories and flaunted the wedding memento.
Meanwhile, Maine, a month after she tied the knot with Arjo, shared a heartwarming post on social media. She shared several never-before-seen photos from their lovely wedding. The said wedding pictures were beautifully captured by Jaja Samaniego of Pearl Studio. To recall, Maine and Arjo exchanged “I dos” in Baguio last July 28, a date that holds a special significance for them.
